Head Cold, Literally

Oh my, this morning, I woke up feeling like my head had been dunked in a cooler of ice. Sleeping next to a large window is usually a nice way to welcome in a new day, but when it's this cold (yes, I'm a very warm-blooded Texan) and there's no heat, I need a new strategy: a sleeping hat.

A Japanese sleeping hat. What could possibly be written on her forehead?!?

  1. Cool hat! :P

I'm pretty sure the message on the hat says "If you can read this you are too damn close!"

    Happy New Year, Alice!

  2. I'm thinking it says, "Don't you wish you had one?"

  3. Nope, it is actually saying the station that this sleeper wants to alight so that others can wake her up when the train reach that particular station.

  4. Thanks for the translation. Perhaps only in Japan is a person safe to advertise where he plans to alight.
