My anxiety in the next two months will probably lead into a post or two. As for alcohol, even the breastfeeding book I'm currently reading by the APA says alcohol in moderation is ok.

Rebecca -- Europe couldn't be more different, but in the end, I missed the chaos.

Leslie -- And have you heard of a "push gift"?? That one shocked me; you get a gift for laboring through!

I don't have any tales but I did learn some interesting facts about how each country does labor/delivery differently. Like in Holland, many women are accustomed to giving birth at home. Or that the Belgians receive regular home visits after their delivery to assist in recovery. Women in Europe seem to have it pretty good when it comes to pregnancy!

No more cravings, and not as ravenously hungry as I used to be. Only have put on 6 kg, and you still wouldn't be able to tell I'm pregnant if I were in a t-shirt. And the big day is just 10 weeks away!!Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09963493525235524241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6373523020575468346.post-16894704700223686512011-05-04T00:06:14.115-05:002011-05-04T00:06:14.115-05:00Oh my gosh! I will be informing my Hubby that he owes me 4. :)

Did you ask any of the locals if they had any pregnancy related wives tales?

And one more question...how are your cravings? Anything too crazy?

BTW...gorgeous pic of you by the tulips. :)Leslie Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12084393882026836564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6373523020575468346.post-34238198414481710992011-05-03T17:01:18.105-05:002011-05-03T17:01:18.105-05:00Wow, that is really interesting. I'm also pregnant, and it'...THANK YOU!!!!
I'm also pregnant, and it's SOOOO refreshing to hear that in other parts of the world, plenty of people do believe that it's OK to drink a wee bit. While my alcohol consumption has always been very moderate, the hardest part of pregnancy for me is the alcohol ban.

Now to get my friends and family to believe me that I'm not an in-utero child abuser if I have half a beer when I go visit them next week . . . there's the challenge!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00300316400083765147noreply@blogger.com
